Here’s a fun question for you all: I’m setting up Pants in a new repo, with a very minimal

pants.ini

(sensible option defaults ftw!), but

time ./pants

in that repo is still horribly slow. Running the profiler shows me that this pants instance is loading

backend_packages

it’s not configured to, like go.
