@enough-analyst-54434: it looks like https://github.com/pantsbuild/pants/blob/master/contrib/go/src/python/pants/contrib/go/tasks/go_fetch.py#L180-L204 goes to the network even if it has hit the cache... intentional? cc @billowy-beach-68498
