@fancy-queen-20734: Added an admittedly somewhat anemic test for the plugin ordering in https://rbcommons.com/s/twitter/r/3950/ , observing that a consequence of the backend/ plugin ordering is that the last alias registered "wins". Let me know if you had something more in mind. I thought about trying to register two tasks into the same goal, but that is also just a side effect of how goals are registered and not a direct measure of the ordering.
