Ah, my mistake not distinguishing how we happen to use

-cp

vs.

-classpath

. That’s probably the source of the confusion.

-cp

and

-classpath

are interchangeable both on java and zinc cmd-lines. In all cases I was referring to zinc’s -cp, not its jvm’s.
