@rough-minister-58256: Can we slack up at some point today? I updated buildgen and it is ready for consumption. Building distributable contrib_plugins is not trivial for code outside the pants repo - so I was working from pants 1.0.1. But recent refactors to the backend loading (most recently your commit c871964a43a6bb35590e0d6b23bcb01d9ec9fe0a, although it could not be the root issue) have broken the buildgen packages:
