FYI, we've been using the remote buildcache in CI for a long time, but we've just this week got our remote buildcache running out to devs now. What we do is use an NFS server in AWS to share with ~ 400 workers in CI, then use an NGINX to server these files read-only out to developer laptops and other automated builders in the rest of the network. Everything seems to be going well and we're getting a lot of kudos for speeding up various processes around the company.
