I really like managing through the repo, in that I can be agnostic to the machine, for the most part. I can push new python dependencies and it always "just works" whether they check out before or after the dep change. But we have limited pex usage. I am actually struggling with a leak through pex right now, but I think I was using the wrong PEX variable, looking at kris's post
