@rough-minister-58256 @witty-crayon-22786 on the dylib vs cdylib question, it still seems likely that they might restrict access to dylib eventually: https://github.com/rust-lang/rfcs/blob/master/text/1510-cdylib.md#unresolved-questions. I still haven't figured out the python module init disappearance though so not quite ready to switch over 🙂
