@enough-analyst-54434 thanks!! i was pretty concerned about exactly that but didn't want to bring anyone else in immediately because i wasn't sure. i also noticed we ping pypi for locally-built distributions in the debug log -- i was assured we still use the local version in the current iteration but it seems like something to avoid if we need to make more changes anyway.
