So if I print the java command line and then run it in the (preserved) test buildroot, it does run! But for some reason when the exact same java command line is run in `execute_java_async` it can’t find the main class.

i'm pretty sure i've seen this error on this test several times in various situations and in ci, but it has magically disappeared when i've tried to investigate

may have been when developing the ij plugin? that could be completely wrong
