@stocky-account-81383 you can get most of the benefit without a remote cache since it looks like gitlab ci supports a local cache: https://docs.gitlab.com/ee/ci/yaml/#cache If you use that feature to cache the Pants local cache (https://www.pantsbuild.org/setup_repo.html#build-cache) - after you've configured pants to use one - you should be good.
