woops, got stacktrace got detected as a binary by slack, here it is:

IIRC deleting some directory in ~/.cache will fix that, if you're happy to just delete the whole thing that should do it

Can't remember whether or was in the pants subdir, pex subdir, or another

hm, tried deleting:

.pants.d
            .local_artifact_cache
            .cache
            dist
            ~/.cache
but no luck. Confirmed also that cached pex in use has version.py saying 2.1.7
