I've got a
docker_image
target with
skip_push=True
, but
pants publish
still seems to be trying to publish it if I specify it in the publish list, whether as the only target in the list or as one of multiple. Is that expected? Does the
skip_push
flag only apply to automatically determined targets, as in the situation where I do something like
pants publish --changed-since=...
? I know it's a bit weird to be specifying the target and then asking for it to not actually do what I've asked it to do with that target, but that was what my reading of that flag said it should do, and it'd make it play nice with our CI/CD setup, rather than requiring me to special case around it.

I mean, you should at least try. Not sure if this is fully relevant, but you should have at a minimum quoted it.
