Salam / Hello everyone my name is Affan, I've been actively using pants for almost 1 + years at my company laam.pk ( E-comm fashion tech from Pakistan ) for our python mono repo (42 services almost). We currently use pants in conjunction with • ruff + docformatter for linting and formatting • mypy for typechecking • semgrep for security scanning • pytest / test containers for tests • Dependency graphs for our CI + CD ( i.e we figure out which services need to be redeployed/ tested if a change to a common package is done ) • SDK Artifact building and publishing to our internal registries for .whl files I look forward to making contributions to this amazing ecosystem 😃 Specifically in two places • Integrating uv as an additional resolver like pip /pex ( we recently migrated from poetry to uv and the parrellization and caching support is just amazing ) • Go backend, since we have another mono repo for go services looking for the same love

Let me know how you want to proceed with PR#231212 I was thinking of running some benchmarks tests locally and share the metrics for some pants goals. Something similar to how uv does benchmarking https://github.com/astral-sh/uv/blob/main/BENCHMARKS.md
