#13874 Unexpected EFAULT ("Bad address") upon `./pants package` Issue created by wimax-grapl Describe the bug Posting this not for help, but for visibility for anybody who runs into this in the future and searches for this: I recently ran into this after a `./pants package <a previously working pex target>`:
Copy code
14:52:58.47 [ERROR] 1 Exception encountered:

  ValueError: Error writing file /home/wimax/src/grapl/dist/analyzer-executor.pex: Os { code: 14, kind: Uncategorized, message: "Bad address" }
14 is an EFAULT, so, bad pointer. Nuking ~/.cache/pants fixed the problem 🤷‍♂️ Pants version Which version of Pants are you using? 2.8.0 OS Are you encountering the bug on MacOS, Linux, or both? Linux Additional info Add any other information about the problem here, such as attachments or links to gists, if relevant. Unfortunately, as I've fixed my problem, I don't really have much in the way of info for reproducing it.
