. We could arguably skip at least one CI somewhere, if we just directly commit and tag main and create a release off that. Technically there is still an approval for the version bump, but those are the epitome of rubber stamps… What I do in some of my projects is to build snapshot/dev builds directly off

main

without branches. Now, whether this script is a straight cron, or something like

gh workflow release …
