#22938 pip change to pypi.org New discussion created by Niccolum Hello! I'm continuing to debug
pants
with a closed network. Honestly, I'm almost there, just a little bit more to go. Now I'm trying to run the
pants package
with blocked pypi.org. My
/etc/hosts
looks like this:
Copy code
127.0.0.1 <http://files.pythonhosted.org|files.pythonhosted.org>
::1 <http://files.pythonhosted.org|files.pythonhosted.org>

127.0.0.1 <http://pypi.org|pypi.org>
::1 <http://pypi.org|pypi.org>
When running it locally, whether using
pants generate-lockfiles
(to install setuptools in the internal loop via install_from_resolve) or using
pants package my_lib::
, I get the error - https://gist.github.com/Niccolum/9166980b6c60dc06f1b3b78641bf6e15 Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong? P.S. Everything works fine without blocking pypi.org UPD: pants.toml - https://gist.github.com/Niccolum/003aad1011ece876f9ebd912915710ea pantsbuild/pants
