Does anyone else run into false positives from

pants.backend.experimental.javascript.lint.prettier

? I keep getting things like prettier made changes but it doesn’t actually make changes? I keep running

pants fmt

and it doesn’t fix anything. Prettier also doesn’t specify what the issue is if its some kind of flake that needs to be manually fixed. It also doesn’t seem to pick up .prettierignore? I can’t seem to reproduce the issue reliably unfortunately though.

Next time you run into this, could you take a snapshot of how that manifests for you? I can't say one way or the other - but I actually stopped using Prettier itself (unrelated to Pants) for exactly this problem. There were some projects or even just some files that were never deterministically formatted, ever
