Are there plans to integrate with

keyring

and its auth backends e.g.

keyrings.google-artifactregistry-auth

? I’m currently generating access tokens in my .pants.boostrap sh script, but this is pretty cumbersome as it’s difficult to different between what goals are being executed i.e. we don’t need auth to run

pants dependencies

so have to explicitly skip the auth step.

You should be able to find several Slack threads in the last year discussing how to do this.
