Twine’s `--skip-existing` flag isn’t supported for pypi repos in Google Artifact Registry, does Pants’ usage of Twine in `pants publish` add any functionality to this end? Or is it just invoking the tool directly? <https://www.pantsbuild.org/dev/docs/python/goals/publish>

It just invokes Twine, but you can pass args through to Twine: <https://www.pantsbuild.org/2.27/reference/subsystems/twine#args>

If it doesn’t work with raw Twine it’s not going to work with Pants invoking Twine

Fair enough. I’ve switched to `uv publish` which does have this functionality, albeit a bit verbosely
