Hi all, just did a quick search for Rust in the Slack and it seems to confirm there's no meaningful support still? Evaluating Pants for our team and this would be a deal killer, so trying to make sure I have an accurate understanding.

Correct, Pants does not have currently ship with Rust rules. One of the maintainers, @gorgeous-winter-99296, has an out-of-tree plugin at https://github.com/tgolsson/pants-cargo-porcelain/. I have not used it personally so YMMV.

Yepp! Unfortunately the use-case I had for it at $dayjob disappeared due to changing priorities so it's not seeing much work at the moment. Worked fine when I last used it, but yeah.
