03/09/2025, 7:14 AMWe are currently on pants 2.15.0 and would like to upgrade to latest 2.24.0. I am getting this error which doesn't make sense to me when the docs say that 2.24 supports python 3.13, why would it be looking for 3.7 to 3.9?
This error happens when creating a docker container with base debian image python:3.11.4-bookworm. Is Is 3.11 not a valid interpreter to use for pants 2.24.0?

03/09/2025, 3:37 PMThis looks like you might be running with the old pants launcher. If so, I'd suggest looking at the updated docs and switching to the new workflow. The old style ./pants has been deprecated for a while.

03/09/2025, 3:38 PMWith the new launcher pants ships it's own interpreter as a scie, and so you only need host pythons for the code you develop yourself.
