📣 🧪 👖 Testing callout! We've had a bit of a pre-release party recently, and you're all invited. We've got the first release candidate for the next major release:

2.20.0rc0

. It'll make your life easier and help the project if you take a moment to try it: if we find any problems now, your upgrade will be smoother, because it'll be perfected for your codebase! Even if you're low on time, all you need to do is edit your

pants.toml

as follows, and then run your favourite/usual commands, and/or put it through any pre-merge CI you have.

If you have more time, you could take a look at the release notes and try any new features that are of interest. (We're still early in the release prep, so we only have the "raw" release notes so far.) In addition, there's some others that could be tested in the same manner, depending on your circumstances: • If you're on 2.18 or earlier:
