#12038 release process should check that user has pulled the lastest Issue created by Eric-Arellano I accidentally tried doing a stable release today but forgot to pull from the latest for that branch. We should instead use
input()
to ask something like:
Attempting to release 2.3.3. If this is wrong, please pull from upstream. Is this correct? [Y/n]
Or perhaps instead:
Have you pulled from upstream recently and are on the right branch? Latest commit is:
