This project uses the <https://docs.python.org/3/library/imp.html|`imp` module> which has been deprecated since Python 3.4 and removed in 3.12:

• Removal planned for <https://github.com/python/cpython/issues/98040|3.12> <https://github.com/python/cpython/pull/98573|(2023)>

Please could you upgrade to use `importlib`? The <https://docs.python.org/3.11/library/imp.html|`imp` docs> have suggestions on what to use to replace each function and constant.
