I think I found a bug in Pex, where if you have a wheel (built as a local dist in Pants) that has the same

top_level

as your source files, the pex_root

installed_wheels

for the local dist pex includes the source files of the "outer" pex. I'll work on a repro outside of Pants

Yup. This is a pretty narrow crease you hit. I'll get out a fix / release.
