05/23/2023, 2:34 PMGood question - 2.16 is very close to stable, we hope to get 2.16.0 out this week. 2.17 has just begun its stabilization journey, and won't have a stable release for another month, probably.

05/23/2023, 2:35 PMUnfortunately our docs site provider (readme.com) doesn't allow labels other than "beta" to distinguish them. We're looking at switching to something more flexible.
