Is there a timeline for stable Pants 2.16 and (more important for me) 2.17 releases? I'm eagerly awaiting some features but would rather not run unstable versions in production.

There’s been a steady stream of fixes over the last little bit and 2.16.0rc2 is being prepped right now. Hopefully not too many more rcs required. I’m not sure about 2.17. Out of curiosity what features are you excited for?

For 2.16 pip-version for pex (much!! faster resolves) and dependencies from pyproject.toml For 2.17 support for artifacts > 2GB

So what I've seen the last few releases is once rc0 or 1 drops, we try it out at $work and then see a bunch of issues we have to pick
