Dumb question: Can pants manage the version of python for you? For instance in recent versions of rules_python for bazel it will hermetically manage the python toolchain for you (if you configure it that way)

I mean it is validating to know that my questions are "solved/answered/addressed" aka they are real valuable use cases.
