    hey @rough-minister-58256 do you know what the proper way to specify that I want to use our internal auth-client package rather than the auth-client package on official PyPi? we have this setup where we put all the packages that aren't in our repo into a requirements.txt, and currently there is no distinction between internal and external packages in the requirements.txt

    well, ideally you’d import all of the externals into your internal repo (alongside the internal packages) and then kill the pypi index in your pants.ini altogether

    this would be safer and more reliable as you’re not pulling (potentially tampered w/) sources from pypi

    there is a way to annotate per requirement which repo to source from, but that would get cumbersome fairly quickly

    ideally you’d be resolvign against one consistent index always - and controlling the versions available there to ensure build stability etc
