    but yea, you'd need provides clauses on all the intermediate things... that's why these are "extras"... because they're published in addition to the jars we usually publish for the target

    possibly of interest in here: i wrote another stub reimplementation of buildgen yesterday because i wanted it for a non-pants project https://github.com/ryan-williams/scala-pkg-deps would be great to iron out the kinks in setting up the real thing someday when i / relevant others here have time

    i’m also wondering if anything ever became of MarkCC’s scalac-plugin-based implementation of the same, which is really the right way to do this. i’ll probably ping him and see if that code is anywhere
