    Is there a reason that the 
    bundle
    target can't scoop up files from a parent directory? I have some shared config files in a 
    config
    directory at the root of the repo, and this seems to mean I can't define 
    jvm_app
    targets at lower levels and scoop up those files when I run the 
    bundle
    goal. Did I miss something?

    it will likely be fixed by the move to the new engine, which allows for more flexibility for target parsing

    @witty-crayon-22786 thanks for the help! I have some other post-bundle tasks to make a binary that can fit what our devops setup expects so I'm just going to take care of it with those, in a python script

    If I'm getting a 'Core Python Test Failure' what's the best way to check why? I haven't changed any code except for a logger message strings, so I think it's just to do with dependencies or some sort of compile errors. I'm running this on VirtualBox ubuntu 16.04.

    I’m getting the following error building a python pex binary which worked yesterday

    Exception message: Could not satisfy all requirements for python-dateutil==2.5.3:
    python-dateutil==2.5.3, python-dateutil>=2.1,<3.0.0(from: boto3==1.4.0->botocore>=1.4.1,<1.5.0)
    python-dateutil pushed 
    2.6.0
    today. I’m able to pip install the requirements without pants no problem. The pants build works if I try building with python-dateutil==2.6.0. Is it possible I’m running into a pants bug?
