I have a question about subsystem. Some tasks define subsystem_dependencies class_method, which is quite easy to understand. but some tasks define global_subsystems class_method, what is the difference? Isn't global_subsystems a subset of subsystem_dependencies?

There's code somewhere that grabs them and sticks them into subsystem_dependencies

global_subsystems was an earlier, now deprecated, way of specifying your subsystem deps

You have to move them into subsystem_dependencies

I'm not sure if that's actually necessary any more, since both tasks and targets can declare subsystems

I don't believe it is *necessary*, since I just discovered that usage last month, but all my subsystems without it seem to be working just fine.

in 1.2.0 is it no longer ok to define a target at the build root?
