What if you do want to add a 3rdparty python library not already referenced by pants?

I assumed just adding the dependency on the 3rdparty library would work, but no.

I'm having trouble with non-reproducible scala compiles. The first time I run one it says:

but if I then run the same command again it passes. Does this mean I have my dependencies badly specified?

@jolly-chef-92794: I made a requirements.txt and our wrapper reads it and installs it in the virtualenv.

that was for fsqio. Internally we have a fs-env that is installed alongside the pants-env.

because the loose sources will be running with the pythonpath of the pex itself
