    Huh, anyone know about git signing and how I messed up pex release? https://github.com/pantsbuild/pex/issues/1701 I followed RELEASE.rst and used pgp key i use for github & pants pypi releases

    FYI Pex CI is flakily timing out on macOS py310 shard, first noticed w/ 2.1.75 release prep. maybe related to deadlock fix? https://github.com/pantsbuild/pex/runs/5763275321?check_suite_focus=true

    Hmm, 2.11.0rc1 isn't letting me use the protobuf codegen for Go. I get 
    No module named 'pants.backend.experimental.codegen.protobuf.go'
    . Is it because it's missing from here perhaps?

    @bitter-ability-32190 Great work with the formatter and linter merge. That's cool that I ran lint first, had a failure with Black, ran fmt to fix it and it only had to run Black. Much faster

    Can a 
    @rule
    "sometimes" return something (aka 
    typing.Optional
    )? I assume not since rules are meant to return one specific type. The reason I'm asking is because I'm trying to tackle the suggested changes from @witty-crayon-22786 in #13757, but I'm running into some exceptions when exposing 
    get_git
    as a rule since it currently returns 
    Git | None
