? But that fails with

OK, https://github.com/pantsbuild/pants/pull/5062 fixes that problem. There was another problem, the ongoing failure of sdists to upload during the release. I fixed that manually and https://github.com/pantsbuild/pants/issues/5027 still tracks the issue.
